Nocatee’s first-built community, Austin Park has mature trees and the homes aren’t so close together as other neighborhoods, which makes it appealing. With only 189 homes, a community park with a gazebo, playground, green space where you’ll see kids playing ball, and beautiful tree-lined sidewalks, what a great place to raise your family!
Austin Park has access to other Nocatee amenities as well, like an award-winning water park with a zip line from the top of the water slide! Nature trails connect all of the communities to the town center for shopping and eating. Scenic preserve views take you all the way to the kayak launch at the intracoastal waterway.
The activities coordinated for residents by the Parc Group keep the whole family busy year-round. My favorites are the farmer’s market and “food truck Friday’s” at Splash Water Park. My family each goes to the truck we want to try and gets the craziest thing on the menu. Then we put all the food in the middle of the table and try everything, from deep fried cheesecake to lobster mac and cheese. Combined with familiar faces of neighbors and friends, it’s a perfect night out!
Location
Austin Park is located on the Southwest side of Nocatee. It’s just across the street from Valley Ridge Academy K-8 school in St. Johns County. It’s very convenient drive to US 1 (Philips Hwy.) to take you to historical downtown St. Augustine in 20 minutes. The new 210 overpass takes you to I-95 South of Jacksonville in 10 minutes. The new I-295 interchange (9B) is just 10 minutes from the entrance of Austin Park.
